Try it only if you are not concerned about serious website monetizing later on. Remember, it you are caught and banned, you loose the possibility of ever running adsense, even if you make multiple accounts with adsense :)

Did you mean BANS, or BANNED. I think some people got the wrong idea, if you meant the former.

If you mean Build a Niche Site, I took AdSense OFF my eBay-based sites because

    a) it may give Google the idea you are making an "MFA" site, since BANS sites can be quite thin as it is
    b) do you want people to buy your stuff or click your ads?!
    c) you are not going to get huge volume to a BANS site anyway, probably, so you want to focus on making money from the listings, not from Adsense clicks
    d) your site looks cheap, visitors wonder why 3rd-party ads if you are trying to sell something through your site

So basically, no, I don't think AdSense on e-commerce or affiliate sites makes sense, and you can't earn very much from it unless you can get big traffic and a good niche, and then you are better off earning from eBay anyway!

No. It's very risky and they may ban your account if you do it.

I have one BANS site, with AdSense.

I say "yes". I've made enough with the Adsense
ads to make it worthwhile. (Not as much as
through eBay, but still a nice amount.)

I built a nitch site out of wordpress. It has a combination of videos, articles, ebay feeds, amazon banners and adsense on it.

I see no reason why not to put adsense on a bans site? Just about all sites are a nitch site. Whether its news, camping, hiking or anything else most sites focus on a certain nitch. Its "how" the material is presented that is important.

To keep from flagging your account, put some articles, pictures and videos on the site that relate to your nitch.

I say Yes, every little bit counts. If you put good content on your bans site, it is just as valuable as any other website, so I don't think google would mind.

How much is enough though... I have BANS-type sites I THOUGHT had lots of content on, but obviously not enough for Google because they disappeared from the index...
