Adsense on banned site?

Hello all you DP'ers out there!

I recently bought a site to which the previous owner stated that his google adsense account had been banned from. I'm an adsense member and was wondering since he no longer owns the site and I do, would it be 'legal' for me to place my ads on my new site.

    Let me know, thanks.

no - ads by adding banners in the site you have bought it if this site has rich traffic

If the site is Adsense legal, then it is OK, however you still need the permission from the Adsense team. Otherwise they'll think you are the same user.

    Peace,

It is better to contact them and ask. Dont take a risk.

You should try to contact them directly to let them know your situation. You can email them at ( adsense-support @ google.com ) or there is a contact form available at www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/request.py

You should go to googles webmaster tools and do a request reconsideration

"Tell us more about what happened: what actions might have led to any penalties, and what corrective actions have been taken. If you used a search engine optimization (SEO) company, please note that. Describing the SEO firm and their actions is a helpful indication of good faith that may assist in evaluation of reconsideration requests. If you recently acquired this domain and think it may have violated the guidelines before you owned it, let us know that below. In general, sites that directly profit from traffic (e.g. search engine optimizers, affiliate programs, etc.) may need to provide more evidence of good faith before a site will be reconsidered."
