Adsense on an E-Commerce Site.

Hi, I'm just looking for opinions here and insight, as I doubt a practical answer can be applied to this question.

Would you put AdSense ads on your e-commerce site? Do you think it is worth the risk of having your competitor's ads clicked on to make a couple extra bucks every day/week/month? And what about customer loyalty: would you send your customers to other sites?

Or would you look at completely different forms of revenue for an e-commerce site, entirely unrelated or at least not direct competition?

Looking forward to hearing opinions on the matter :)

when you say 'ecommerce', do you mean 'a site that sells stuff' ?
if so then it seems like you would just be sending away potential customers for pennies each. Maybe - if you put the adsense at the bottom of the pages, so that was the last thing they saw, it might be worth it.

if you are are selling adult goodies or sex tool:D , it will not be a problem. i think adsense is a way of showing related links to your product

It is possible.. (you'll need to use the competitive filter though.. because it's not worth gaining a few cents and losing customers). I personally would not and just concentrate on earning revenue through sales.. since you can earn A LOT more than through adsense.

I think you should not put adsense on your ecommerce site if you are really serious about your online business. It's really not worth gaining a few cents and losing customers.
