The only reason you'd want AdSense on an adult website is to have your account banned.

Say you have adsense in forums, just like here at DP.

What would be the outcome if a thread was created on an explicit adult topic?

Just a question for a forum owner like me.

Forum owners should control the content on their website to comply with Google TOS if they subscribe to the AdSense campain. Ads should be filtered to not be displayed on particular adult related pages. Don't know about deals you can have with G in such case but chances are high that websites publishing google ads on adult pages are simply breaking the rules and are placing themselves in the banning queue.

There are adult sponsored links on Google search, so I think it is believable that they may have a special deal with some adult publishers, but I'm pretty certain it is against the TOS for normal accounts.

It's possible, but it's not allowed. If you see it you should report it to Google.

As soon as I read this topic, I knew he wasn't asking if he could have AdSense on HIS adult website, I figured he was referring to an adult site he saw that had AdSense. It didn't cross my mind he was running one. Wait, were you asking about putting it on your adult site? I just figured you weren't referring to that.
