Hello, I'm a lurker in these forums so I suppose it's about time for my very first stupid question I was re-reading through the TOS to ensure that my site is fully compliant and am slightly confused on what constitutes a "non-content-based-page"... I have a few pages that seem iffy to me so any help/suggestions would be greatly appritiated. Here's my iffy pages: punksoftware.com/download?project=RocketDock punksoftware.com/converticon punksoftware.com/nerdproliferator I'm mostly concerned about keeping ads on the first one because it gets all the traffic
Hi PolyVector, In my opinion, you have valid reason for concern. While there are no established metrics for what constitutes a "content page", one number I've seen bandied about is '500 words'. This would probably be a good minimum to work from, and at present, all of your pages fall short. The third page you list is probably the closest to a proper content page - you may want to take a few moments to come up with an answer to the question, "What can I do to make my pages more useful for my visitors?" Basing your website content on this strategy should assure that your pages are appropriate for serving AdSense. HTH, Sam
Thanks WebFreedom, I'll think about what content I can add to the pages. I'm stumped on my download pages because I already have a page for the project, but I'm sure there's something I can add. Maybe a paragraph after the version listing that talks about our other projects I guess I have some work to do then... edit: I think I'll put kanoodle ads on the web-app pages to be safe
