Adsense on a satire site

    Just curious if that's fair game or not. I'm going to guess no, but I thought I'd ask the experts here.

    Im no expert, but if the satire contained profanity then it would be best avoided.

    I agree - if there's even a small amount of profanity, it's a waste of time.

    Otherwise I can't see any reason why you couldn't use AdSense.

    Thanks. It does contain profanity, even though I was thinking of cleaning it up for adsense. I still don't think it would fit though. Since it is a satire it comes off sort of bigoted.

    I've tried it. The CTR is pretty average - around 1%.
    But don't expect more than four cents per click. One cent is average CPC.
