adsense on a redirecting domain?

    I have 2 domains for my website (one .com and one .org , same name)

    On the .com I only have a notice telling people they should go to the .org one and a link for them to be redirected there.

    Can I put adsense on this redirecting .com domain ?

    If it has content, I don't see any reason why. I don't recall this being a violation of the TOS.

    Ok nice, I will make sure to have some content there too. I was thinking about putting up the index of my main sites (the .org one) article section on the .com so that when users click any of the links to the articles they will be redirected to the "correct" .org site.

    Maybe what you can do is instead of having an actual page redirect, you an have at the top if the page saying to "click here", or something of the kind to reach the desired site. Or, was this what you meant by redirect in the first place?

    Yeah, thats pretty much what I got now.. Have a text saying "Please go to www.domain.org instead"

    Below that I have a short description of waht the site is about, and below that an adsense unit, and beneath that i got an article index that links to the .org site.

    @Darkbreed,
    unless you put real content in that page, you are breaking the tos.
    You can put an rss feed of your .org in the .com domain. Or an article, as previously mentioned, then put the redirection.

    Why not just use a 301 redirect from one domain to the other?

    Its good idea to put a page in between telling people that they are being redirected or the site has moved so that they may not forget to update their bookmarks. That is particularly useful for domains that are already there for long, but 301 redirect is better for new ones. But, unless you have some real content on that page, ads should not be placed there. But if there is content, its OK.

    We aren't talking about redirecting get-cheap-student-loans.com to how-to-build-a-nuclear-weapon.info where it might be beneficial to tell people why the site has moved.
    If you just have xyz.com and then redirect that to xyz.org anyone should be able to figure out that xyz.org is the main site and a 301 will be all that's needed.

    This might help:

    <script>
    window.location="http://sitetoberediectedto.com";
    </script>
