AdSense on a proxysite?

AdSense on a proxysite? Is it allowed? I know for sure you're not allowed to view it on a proxy window. But if the Google Ad is 'only' on the proxy and nothing else, is it allowed to be placed there?
At the moment, my server manager is saying I cannot have a proxy on my dedicated box, and he also pointed out, that I cannot have Google Ads on a proxy. I'd like to know what is what!

Yes, you can place ads on the proxy server.

No, you will not last long before you get banned.

There are many other ways to make money. A proxy is high risk all the way around.

You can add it to your proxy site, but only on the index page, not on all the others. That said, there are some people around here who still manage to make serious money with it...

yes of course you can put it, i myself got my site visit by an adsense team, and they just tell me not to put adsense on the surf page of my proxy. because its not my page, its someone else page. and its aggaint the TOS.

Thanks all! It's ashame I cannot use my proxy though, my dedicated hosting providers are saying that the proxy can be used for illegal purposes, such as sending spam emails through the servers IP Network; which could get blacklisted. I think I'll find a shared host which will allow me to run a proxy!
Anyways, I appreciate everyones input, I'm sort of getting mixed views. And all I'll be adding my AdSense to is the index page, not the proxy window! - I'll email AdSense themselves and see what they think about the situation. Thanks again guys! You guys are nice people in my book :)
