It's because it's in the code/script, you can view the ads on your site and list them in competitive ad filter, so all urls listed there won't be advertised on your website :)

But the code had proxy in it only in two spots and I changed that from "proxy" to "site" And those were just the error pages saying that.
Arent the ads showing the highest paying ones?
    Thanks
    Jason

Can I have a look at your site? It's not just the text on the site, it's the domain name and other things as well. :)

well my proxy site is showing an ad for proxy access and a test and encode RFID? What kids that are using my site will click those.
Thats why my I decided not to have the word proxy anywhere on my site. So I could get other ads.....but umm I guess not? haha
Where exactly does adsense crawl my site to get proxy info?? Or should I take off the code and retry it again in a few days? I could add like adbrite for the mean time.
    Thanks
    Jason

google is displaying it because u can generate most revenue from them but if they are ur competitors then just block those domains

I understand that part, but what i dont understand is how it knows its a proxy. My site doesnt say anywhere its a proxy. Not even in the code or meta tags....

Say I have a site about medicine and only car ads show up. I have no mention of the word car but the ads I get are all about cars.
Is there a certain line or code I can put somewhere on the page that adsense will crawl and take that info out....

I'd like to know more about this as well. I know how to block certain advertisers/sites from showing up in my adsense ads... But it's very limited, I get surfing/surfboard ads, and virus scan/proxy/networking ads. MySpace users are not likely to be interested in this stuff. I wish you could choose categories, but I guess that's just not how AdSense works.
