Is it ok to put adsense ads on a website that has just one page ...
i am willing to build several websites with just a one long page that has no menu or navigation (i ve written some small novels in japanese and i want to post them as one long page with the domain having the same title as the novels ) .. i wanna check if anyone here is doing something similar ///

    thanks

I thought if you had a site that looked like it was made for adsense (ie: one page sites) they could shut it down?

They could do, but if the page is made to be very content rich and interesting it shouldn't matter, some of the best websites have been one pagers in the past... Good Luck with it and I hope it is successful for you, just watch out for the mouse clicking happy fiends out there! (people clicking your Ads for the hell of it!)

but how is that going to build up your ad impressions? A novel could take up a bunch of pages if seperated correctly and you could get up to three impression's from adsense per a page they read. Personally I would seperate them by chapters instead of having it on one long page, but that is just me.

I have a 2pages website, but most of the content is on the second page.
I never had a problem with adsense, they checked up my website once and all was ok.

I agree with this also. If you have a number of pages, your users will have an easier time reading the content, its also easier for them to bookmark a particular page to carry on reading later.

if the text is too long it won't be that visitor friendly

I like the idea! I have to agree here though. May be better (depending on how long story is) to break it up like a book. Even if one chapter is one page.

To me would increase not only ad impressions but user and web site interest
