Is it a good idea to put Adsense on a new blog? In my case I created it in mid August and so far it has approximately 30 posts and it gets some traffic daily, not much, but around 500 impressions daily for now. Would I have trouble if I put ads on it while it is still young and low in traffic? I already have an active Adsense account, so at any time in Blogger I can press the button to have Adsense on it, problem is though, I'm afraid they might ban me if the blog is inappropriate, so I thought I'd ask you guys, please do let me know if you've had no problems with Adsense on small blogs.
500 impressions is really huge for a month old site and only 30 posts.. But if those traffic are legit, I mean they are not from traffic exchange site, then you are safe.
Well traffic sources shows me Google.com and YouTube, not using any dirty tricks. Thanks for your reply.
I did a post recently on common adsense myths. Nowhere in Googles TOS will you find anything stating you need any particular level of traffic. Your adsense application lives or dies on its compliance with the TOS and adsense website quality guidelines - both of which can be found on the adsense website. If your site complies with them you get approved, and that's all it ever has to comply with. But traffic alone has NOTHING to do with getting approved. You can apply the second you finish building a site and get approved. I agree with handsoff on the number of impressions though. What are you logging these via? I've been running a test recently with stat counter, google analytics, and stat press. Results so far? Between 50-75% less showing in analytics than the other two.
I've started new sites and put Adsense on from day 1 without any problems, just follow the rules and you'll be fine. Regarding the impressions are you sure they aren't you?
You are free to put on adsense on your website on blogger once you created it. Google is not against that. Just play safe... That's all.
If you had read them, then you would not have said what you posted. The ToS are clear in that you can not put adsense on any site that does not meet the adsense criteria. Why did you say ..when that is not the case at all. You should stop spreading misinformation.
Why should I when I just did it. I can't mislead. I can't give what I don't have. Am off this issue. Agent000.
I think, one account is enough, the most important you can maintain your account, make sure your website doesn't violate the google rules. although it is still a mystery for me ...
