Adsense on a FOREX niche

Is anyone using Adsense on a FOREX niche site? If so, does it do well? I'm thinking about that as my next project. What kinds of click values could I expect? $1-2 would be nice. :)

It's a good idea... just be careful or else your site will be labeled as HYIP or gambling site..

I wouldn't waste my time it's been done too many times, it is very very tough niche to break and there are many better niches out there. All the best though.

Forex niches pay pretty well but is very very competitive, it's like the new Online casino fad.

If you are really serious about setting up a FOREX site, it will be much profitable if you decided to focus on affiliate marketing rather than Adsense. Anyway, the CPC should be somewhere around $1-2 as what you mentioned here but with affiliates, it could easily be more than $10.

Yes, I appreciate FOREX is competitive. Traffic will be tough that's true, but $1-2 per click from a 5% CTR will still be worth it. I'm thinking of a 10-20 page site, so even 10-20 visitors a day looking at half of the pages could yield around $10.

There's only one way to find out. :)

OK, got my site in the Google.co.uk index and I come in at No. 4 for my Forex keyword term, from 298,000 pages listed. From the three sites above me I can see how to fine tune to get further up the list (hopefully to the top spot). I'll be analysing my competition intensely over the next couple of days to make that so. I've also taken the affiliate comments on board. Happy days.

NO matter how competitve the niche is you can still manage to get onto google page 1 with smart seo , proper content updation , blending keywords , just make sure that it is not build for earning from adsense...Previously i had a site with a medium niche of 5cents a click...without doing any SEO[ used some smart tactics 100% ok with google TOS ] and got it to page 1 for over 2months for 5keywords...so i think forex niche is no catch , all that matters is time and hardwork you put in...:)

If you can break into the niche congrats, but forget adsense, the affiliate payouts are huge for forex.

Well it looks encouraging. The SEO has gone well, but can be tuned more. I'll be adding lots of Forex articles in future weeks (the site is about 25 pages at the moment, and it's the home page at No. 4.). I'm trying not to expand too fast, but i've gone from $370 in 2006 to $1,200 in 2007 and if the projections for this site I could be around the $3,500 mark for 2008 for all my sites, purely from Adsense. That's 10x growth in 2 years. I don't think that's too bad.
