Adsense now showing Videos?!?

Was just checking out the content on one of my sites and i noticed instead of my normal Adsense square they had an imbedded video from Google Video. The video content is relevant (the page is for a tv show) and shows footage from the tv show.

I didn't know they were doing this, has anyone else seen this?

I wonder what the cpc would be for videos? or maybe they will integrate that into their CPA plans. Ie charge for each watch of the video...

I have recently noticed similar ads on some of my sites. from what I hear videos are worth more per click than the regular text ads so having video ads is definitely a good thing!

I've seen the google videos coming more often lately.... if the videos are site targted you'll get paid without the click.... wonder if videos cost more than regular ads CPM wise...

If a person will click to "Show Video" then only the publisher will be paid else it's of no use.
    Isnt it?

You don't get paid per play, only per CPM or per click, just like normal AdSense.

I hae come across video ads, but I don't think they were adsense. It was in the Times website. I am not sure if they still use adsense, if they do, it could have been adsense.

I've noticed they don't seem to feature the Ads By Google text - maybe they were on premium publisher sites or there is just no room?

I took a screenshot for those who haven't seen it. This is the whole unit that appears, it does say ads by google in the bottom right but from memory that swaps to 'google video' logo.

Now that i've noticed it once, they seem to be popping up all over my webpages (the same video).

In future i daresay they should be quite lucrative as they do appear as 'extra' value added content without the visitor likely to realise its an ad. However if its not relevant doesn't really add anything as is the situation for my site the only link is NBC Network as both shows are on it.
