Adsense not working correctly?

Hello, I'm new to adsense. I got the HTML put up and the advertisements are up. However, when one is clicked, nothing happens as far as money being earned by pressing it. I got my friend to try it once and it still gave no money according to the adsense account info thing. Any ideas? Does it just take a long time for it to realize it? Don't ever ask your friend to click on the ads again.
Probably that click was counted as invalid.

 

It's not working properly now... It will stop working forever if you do the tricks you are trying to do.

There is a delay between an ad being clicked and it showing in your account stats.

 

Thanks. I was just hoping to make sure that it was working. I only did it once... But about how long of a delay is there for you guys?

 

Log on to your adsense account. Click the tab "Adsense Setup", then under it the tab "Manage Ads". See there if the adsense units installed in your site is active or not. You can edit it or create a new adsense unit, get the code and paste it in ur page.

 

Yeah, It says its active. I've also got a couple more impressions and they weren't me so thats still showing that somethings up. It still says $0.00. Any ideas?

 

If you are so blurrrrrr about adsense I suggest you PM me for free adsense ebooks or click one of the sites (the obvious one - not the one about online dating) in my signature to read a good free adsense book there.

 

google has got an algorithm to count valid clicks.maybe your click was not valid.but never tell your friends to click on your ads..at least not on social networking sites
