adsense not updating

I have several Adsense ads on my page. I track my visitors with an independent tracking service, so I know what the visitor exit pages are and therefore also know when they leave for an Adsense ad. Problem: I discovered that I’ve had four clicks that didn’t increase the money on my account. Do you know why this is happening? The ads that don’t work are of two types: a) 728x90 leadrboard under „ad unit“, b) 728 x 15 links under „link unit“. I noticed that there is „doubleclick“ in the link name (the company that Google acquired).

All of the click links start like this:

    http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-.......

Does the double click require two clicks before it starts paying? Or maybe they only pay if your website has a high visitor number (mine has low)? Or perhaps I’m doing something wrong setting up the system (for example maybe I have too many types of ad formats activated)? I know that all of my ads that are dispayed have „active“ status. Has anyone else seen this happen? I would be very thankful for any feedback.
    Thanks!

I don't think it has anything to do with types of banner.
Single click should make you earn.
Earning increases (i.e. pay per click) for more impression.

Check your adsense account if you have any blocked ads...

How do I find out if I have blocked ads? How can some ads be blocked?

You say that the more impressions you get the more the ads pay. Is it possible that since I don't get lots of impressions my ads get me zero dollars per click?? Is this going to change when I start getting more page impressions?

I still haven't figured out why my adsense account won't update. Here are some other pieces of information (could someone comment if these could affect my account somehow):

    1. I display adsense ads on 2 different websites (unrelated).
    2. I'm not specifying channels or using channels in any way at all.
    3. Is it possible that the adword account owners are simply not paying for the clicks they get from me because my website has low traffic?
    4. Could the richness of content be not enough for getting paid?

Thanks! I'd be super happy if someone took the trouble to comment.

I could not understand. Do you want to say that there are clicks recorded in the adsense account, but no corresponding earnings? In other words how do you know you have clicks?
Are you clicking on your own ads? (because you are sahring the url of the ads)

I know I get clicks because I monitor my site with a tracker. I know that the exit links are to "doubleclick". However, my earnings are not going up correspondingly. Thanks.

    Hi,
I also use analytics /statcounter to monitor clicks and yesterday was most odd, I can see over 12 people clicked on one site yet only 4 clicks showed in adsense stats (As paid clicks). Very , very low earnings yesterday. Sounds like it might have been a larger problem
