That is an example of a page on my site that I have added adsense too. I have a lot of foodie key words on the page, so I would expect any ads to do with weight loss, food etc to come up, but instead, I have had loans and paintballing in London?

Don't click all around the site, as some pages have other authors adsense on and therefore and currently displaying PSAs.

I hope someone can help me out here.

cannot help but personally i wouldnt waste anytime on this, just focus on increasing your traffic and let adsense do its job.

How long ago did you add the ad block? Sometimes it takes a few days for the adsense bot to come around and get a 'proper' idea of your content, in the meantime it takes a dismally poor stab in the dark.

Otherwise, just blame advertisers that choose poor keywords to buy. I used to contantly get insurance ads on a funny quotes page of mine, I actually had to resort to changing 'quotes' to 'sayings' as that was the only way to get rid of the insurance ads.

Some niches dont have good advertising. I tell people the opposite of what that idiot darren rowse said about picking a niche. Do it for the money, and if you get board hire sombody to blog for you for 1$-2$ post a day.

I guess Google is based to provide integrated ads which is relevant to your website content but hopefully there could be reason that it may be unable to find any reciprocating ads relavant to your site

only happens when you add new ad code on the site or if you dont have enough content on the site.

if yo added the code some time back and still getting irrelevant ads, then use" section targeting" which will help.

Place your ad blocks closer to content and write some keyword targeted content. Hope it helps

Thanks for all the replies guys.

I know the site has a lot of possible related adsense because in the past, I have had a number of recipe related sites.

There is a lot of adsense ads: Even things such as "Lost xx inches off your waist". It's just I keep getting shit ads.

You can filter out irrelevant advertisers from the CP.

    Hello,

If Adsense keeps showing really irrelevant ads on the site, this probably means that Google is not really getting properly what your site is all about.
Try checking the Google Webmaster tools to see what Google gets from your website, and you will get the clue.

Advice, work on your SEO this will help you in:
1- Getting a good rank, therefore a good quality and free traffic.
2- Relevant ads, therefore more clicks.

    To your success!
