    Hello,

Not sure if this is the place to post this, but here goes:

I’d like to know spot suspicious activity (mostly related to comprising my adsense via click fraud, etc.) and block the offending ip address. I’ve read that in order to block a specific ip address I edit the .htacess file. But how do I see this kind of activity in the first place? Is there software I should purchase for this?

Another question is that is it possible to allow people from an address to continue to see the site but not see my adsense? I have a site that will used in a course at a university and suspect I may get a bunch of clicks from there. However, I still want the students to see the site. I’ve contacted adsense regarding this, and basically they said “keep an eye on things & block the ip address when you see something of concern”.

I’m looking at adsense gold & adlogger. I’m not very savvy on the server side of things, so I need something that’s easy to install. I’m willing to pay some $$, but not a lot for a good tool.

    Thank you.
