AdSense Network Down

    For about the last ten minutes, I have not seen any AdSense ads on any non-Google web sites.

    This includes all of my own sites and DP.

    I wonder how much money Google is losing every minute?

    I'm losing about $1/minute right now.

    I see the adsense ads on Dp right now. They might have been down but they are up now.

    I agree rcj662, I see the ads as well. Try clearing your cache/cookies or something.

    My bad. I had to stop and retart Firefox and the ads are back. :eek:

    This affected both ad units and link units -- but did not affects ads via Google's own search engine.

    Will,

    You make $1 per minute with AdSense? So that's over $40,000 per month, right? Amazing!

    Only from 9-5 M-F. When people go home, revenue drops like a rock.

    I'm the only guy in America who hates weekends and holidays. :D

    I noticed that too.
    That would be a huge loss for them but almost nothing for the single publishers.

    ROFL... Only Will to make me laugh atm...

    ONLY 9-5 M-F

    **I grab a calculator**

    OK... 8 hours*5 days per week == 40 hours

    40 * 4,345 weeks per month == 173,80 Hours per month

    173,80*60 minutes == 10428... bucks

    Poor Will... and I'm not counting the other 16 hours per day + full weekends :p

    Will,

    How many sites do you manage to get those kind of numbers?

    Cheers

    I freaked for a moment, and then I went to other web sites to see if only my sites were affected. My first thought was "Oh Christ, what have they banned me for?"

    I'm more than a bit embarrassed by my troubleshooting error. :eek:

    HHI, I'm running a lot of sites right now as a test, but I've had more success historically in running a few very good sites. Google seems to reward large "authoritative" sites.
