Hi I think Adsense needs to lighten up a little. What is all these smart pricing for? More and more people are complaining they get smart priced. What do Adsense gain from all these? They already got the most dominant search engine and is bound to get advertisers signing no matter what the quality of adsense clickers. I mean most ppc don't get ppl signing cuz they don't got much websites to show ads on not cuz of their invalid clicks. I mean adsense is still not a perfect system and conversions cannot be tracked if advertisers do not want to cooperate. That is why they abolished referrals cuz advertisers are cheating. I think they need to redefine the notion of invalid clicks and just pay the bill.
hmmm im not sure what your saying, it was a little jumbled. But I think google should get rid of the people with low quality clickers. From an advertisers point of view, i want the most for my money. If your not happy with google, there are tons of others ones that might be more suited to what your looking for. Check out my sig link for a few....
low quality clickers? there is no way to track conversion. all advertisers just want people to know their sites. I will invest heavily in adwords if google has a technology that trace conversion. what i am saying is given the current state of technology, Google should not be too harsh on publishers.
Smart Pricing is basically a way for Google to short change the publishers and a very simple excuse to boost their profits. It is an idea that was floated around by Google throughout these forums, if you look through the Adsense agreement there is no mention of smart pricing. when you see a commercial on TV. it does not matter if you go right out and buy that product - the impression has been made in your mind, whether you buy it today or tomorrow, now if the advertiser tells the TV stations they will only pay them if the beer sales rise at a specific time (after said advertisers commercial is shown) how would that play with TV executives, so basically Google is stiffing the publishers, because their is no competing PPC program thats worthwhile. PS. what's also sad is the Google apologists in this forum that justify this action
