Adsense Millionaires - Inspiration

I'm making decent money with adsense. Haven't quit my day job yet, but the extra income is helping us live comfortably.

When I first started my websites 5+ years ago, I remember reading an article about Google's top adsense earners. (It may have been an article in Money magazine, if I'm not mistaken.) This is what inspired me to create sites in the first place.

Does anyone have links to, or information about, top Adsense earners today?

How much are they making? What are their niches? Has anyone read any good articles on Adsense millionaires lately?

Just looking for some links and reading material to "update" my inspiration.

That article is from 2006 though, still fun to read.

Nowayears I think there are lots of people earning much more than that.

That's the only list I have read on the web(the one from johnchow) and everyone else is just presenting the same list in new way.

I know some friends who earn from adsense from $5000 - $15000/month. But I think many people earn more from that

 

Interesting, I always wonder if some of the tv and news paper sites make a decent amount from adsense. Some of the local tv station news sites I visit have google adsense ads and they have decent traffic. Guess we will never know, but it would be interesting to find out how much some of these sites actually make.
