    I can see plenty of backlinks to this website - will they stay after the transfer or are they paid/time limited?
    Where is the domain registered? Is it free to push or would I have to pay some fee?

    registered at 123 reg, don't know about fees, i thinks its free to create a 123 reg account and i can transfer to your 123 reg username, just like godaddy transfer. the backlinks are my own and would be removed when the domain is sold. You can find your own blogs for backlinks.
