Adsense Mentor 50/50 Split for 12 months

Hi all DP members - after lurking around DP for a few months I have joined and been enjoying my time as a newbie. As you all point out there is a wealth of knowledge on this forum and I have been doing my best to read as much as I can but I feel that i also need to work smarter as well as harder. I have had great success with mentors in other areas of my life and feel that I would benefit the most from mentoring by an accomplished Adsense guru who knows the ropes. The good news is that I have a niche product/site as a base.

Lets be clear I'm not looking for a free ride - I have a 15 year background in IT and am a fast learner and am happy to put the hours in. I feel the biggest benefit to having a mentor would be telling not only what to work on but far more importantly WHEN to work on it.. I would feel more comfortable if I could have a mentor to liase with who then benefits from my success.
I would like to think that I would need a couple of months of questions/answers and strategy setting and then it would ease off as I got up to speed with monetizing my site(s).

At this point I suspect you may be thinking "I dont know this guy from a bar of soap - so how do i know he will honor his fee split?"
I will be willing to place my Adsense mentors publisher code (separate channel) and then trust them to pay me - this hopefully will help us get over the initial period where we don't know each other - the risk is more mine than yours.

So, if you are making 500-1000+ a month with Adsense and would like a win-win situation then please PM me or post any questions..
    Cheers
    Mike

Wouldn't posting someone else's code on your site be against TOS? You could BOTH be banned.

Google dont really know who's site it is. DP posts alot of peoples code here :)
As long as they dont have 2 blocks of ads using both id's on the same page.

Saying Google won't know is not the same as saying it's OK with Google.

hi Tearabyte - yes me again - the first time i forgot i couldnt post until i had some cred.. you can see i took on board what you said about being trusted by having the mentors adsense code - there are already some sites that use revenue sharing that rotate adsense codes - so i am working on the belief that its not against TOS.

My site has adsense on it for quite a while and i have been working away at it .. but i still think the mentoring works best for me - so after thinking it over for a few days have posted the idea again.. wont die waiting to see what people think of an idea on dp :)

    cheers

I think that this is a very smart idea. Of the things that I consider myself an expert in (not SEO), in a couple of weeks of the mentor role I could communicate very valuable knowledge that would take years to gain independently.

As for splitting income.. That's seems pretty easy to do fairly.. Toggle between publisher id's every week.

After seeing this post I am going to think very hard about doing a variant of this route myself.

touche - the 15 years might mean im a slow learner ..
im not trying make zillions overnite as i already know it doesnt work that way - but i have found that learning from someone who has already figured some things out can speed the process up about 10 times.. just trying to work smarter as well as harder..

People who have already "done it" and are making the big money have started from scratch just like the rest of us.
They followed the same format we are all following:
    - Find an undeveloped niche
    - Develop content for that niche
    - Promote to your target audience and get repeat traffic.
    - Create a community
    - Specify your ads to maximize revenue
    - Keep building traffic

    Wash rinse repeat

Then do that for as many sites asa possible, and your golden.

your blueprint is right clear and concise, a couple of points about it:

firstly the breadth and depth of the knowledge here at DP shows that within your blueprint is a massive amount of knowledge required at each step to make it all blend together - i have already spent quite a bit of time looking through DP and on top of what to do its really hard to know WHEN to do it.. hence i like the mentor route as that happens to satify both those issues.
Secondly there are a huge amount of members who obviously figured this all out by themselves and think that is how i should go about it.. but i have some PM's already from people who did exactly what i am trying to do and they think its saved them alot of time.
I guess the fine line is there are a number of silly posts from people saying "make me rich today" - im not asking for that im saying invest some knowledge in me so that i can work harder and smarter at the same time.
I have no doubt trial and error(and all the useful DP posts) will eventually
get me on the right track but if someone is prepared to help - then it makes sense to me to go that way..

I started the entire business of making money online with Adsense and affiliate programs 3 months ago. At first, I thought I needed a mentor too. However, I just jumped right into it. My first month, I made just $8. My second month, I made $70 with Adsense. This month, I'm on pace for $600, and $1100 with affiliate program. I just followed a lot of advice from the helpful peeps in the DP forum - there really is no secret, and doing everything myself just gave me more gratification in da end.

The cookie-cutter template on your site is horrific- the site you link to in your sig. You can do much better with an original, IMHO.
