Thousands a day. There are many of us wanting to make that also. I would be satisfied with the $200 level for now. It is most likely though something in your design of your site. His site most likely is so basic that it encourages clicks on his ads more often and on higher paying ones. Kevin
thousands a day..wow...i should know this site...but back to the topic... i think your friend is just smarter then you...design and theme is not always important. his content is probably published before you and is linked to more then yours...too many factors dont know which could be effecting it.
$1000 US dollar a day? wow.. I only managed to earn $2 per dollar.. I think i have to find adsense guru here..
I was so curious to find out your websites that i did..(i am not gonna say how) and i dont think any of your website can make more then $50/day..one of which is for sale and the other ones are alexa rank of over 2 million,,how can you make $1000/day???not possible with your websites..
70K? 35K? Uniques!!??!? A DAY?!!!??!? Just need a minute to wrap my head around these numbers. Okay. The problem with advertising is its up and down. It's not a paycheck. Believe me, if you got hit by Google, you are going to get hit by Yahoo. Eventually. You may not lose the traffic but you will lose the earnings unless you stay on top of things.
Probably there is something in your design that is repelling people from clicking... or people just click on your firends site as they feel they can't find the information on the crap site and hence click on... thats what i do when I'm surfing - usually the well designed sites offer a good solution... but if the informaiton is badly organised - im off to another website.
So, wat would your guy prefer ? Yahoo Ads or Google Adsense. I still blur here, any suggestion for me!
well i will say Chitika... Chitika is providing more then adsense and yahoo!... when i was using Adsense i made $10 a day... and now with chitika i made $250 a day sotimes... that mean... its 100's time better for me.... i think Chitika worth trying..
I always thought it was common knowledge that the more plain and ugly the site, the more money can be made from Adsense. White background, no fancy header, and write to the content seems to be the trick.
I think Google is not MAD to give 10rating to his compititors.... ( common sense ) NO one rate his compititors 10 - also when its better then them...
Don't get everyone so excited... If your site's not about product-related stuff, you won't see those numbers. And Chitika's had to play with things recently, so it's unclear over the longer term what the earnings will be like, especially after Christmas. But yes, if your blog/site is product-related then it's certainly worth giving it a try.
Hmm.. Your site seems targeted to non-US visitors, right? Have you ever been paid by chitika yet? Or at least got any audited revenue?
