It looks like PSAs are appearing on http://www.apn.gr/manager/publish/index.shtml because Greek is currently not supported by the AdSense program. While I see that there is some English content, it is probably not enough for our crawlers to be able to determine the meaning of your page and serve relevant ads. If you are not satisfied with the ads that are appearing, I recommend removing the code until we are able to support Greek. I see you are already using AdSense for search, and recommend continuing to use this option in the meantime.
You can also start using the fallback function of showing alternate ads if Google can't come up with any. That way the adspace won't go to away for free.
hi ASA. I thought the media bot looked at the lang=´´x´´ tag ? If so then rman just has to change/ that to his pages ...
Hello and many thanks for your replies! We have the language tag not only in news pages but and at the other directory and we have always adsense ads into that pages. Into Greece we adsense serv greek and english ads. But in the news pages only PSAs. Is very strange this. As about greek lanquage we see that into Google SERPS has allways ads in Greek with no problem in all search pages. Also we see a lot of greek pages here that they have greek ads, some of them are in jsp and some are with utf-8. Their greek ads are related to their content and some are in english but with GREECE target ads. In our Apache server we can't make the charset default to utf-8 because we are not alone! Maybe utf-8 its the answer into our questions. But we are not sure about.
