Any stats, or rough idea how many internet browsers are surfing javascript disabled? Sounds like a great idea, but could be lot of work implementing for those with larger sites.
The septics remind me of a post I've made months ago about displaying a different size for adsense, it was simply about switching (with php) the different available sizes so that the users don't get ad blind too fast, but there was a lot of misunderstanding and the septics people were sure of themselves about how messing with the code is bad, but they don't understand what code means, some think you have to use the adsense wizard or you get banned! Good tips by the way, but what I've find is that javascript is disabled by about 3% of users on my more technical sites, where on popular sites with a wider and less computer savvy audience, this is more like 0.4% without javascript. But every additional bit is good to take!
Can anyone tell me here what browsers out there have hard time displaying javascript or are not javascript enabled?
Perhaps some browsers for mobile phone? But most often javascript disabling would be done by the user himself or an administrator.
That would mean that thousands of sites like forums with ads only visible for guests would get banned. It's just a small code added above and below the google code, that's not changing the behaviour. Changing the behaviour would be changing the google code itself and this tip does not do that. rep added
