    Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't this 'if' statement be a waste of effort cuz the google search results records clicks with a javascript, too?

    Not only that, but aren't the search "results" displayed by a javascript, too?

    I think the point they were making was that you don't want to risk the only AdSense account you get and they were not suggesting using a second one.

    Can this bit of code go any place at the top coded section of the page-- or is there a best place in the meta tags section to put it?

    In re-reading the tip, it seems I misread this and that the tip giver seems to intend this to be placed as a frame around Google adsense code -- not as part of the codded section of one's web site-- where you put details about style sheets, meta tags, etc. If I'm now reading this correctly, I find it more questionable and bothersome to use than if you could just stick it in with your meta tags.

    Lots of people saying this is bannable.. *sigh* Look, this is TOTALLY adsense terms compliant. All they say is you cant change the code.. there, you havnt, you've simply put some tags either side of the ORIGIONAL, UNTAMPERED code.

    This is a good tip. How about if you put another type of ad in the <noscript> section, such as an html link to an affiliate product? I think that would make it even better.

    I think using an alternative html would be fine, but like I said before, adding adsense search would be useless cuz adsense search results are generated through javascript.

    On this tip which seems to imply putting this with the google search code stuff, what if the following suggested code were put NOT anywhere near the google search code but at the top of one's page with all the meta codes like <title></title> date, descriptive key words, syle sheet instructions, etc.??? Would that either have no effect or work without jeopardizing google apparoval???

    <noscript>
    here you can put adsense for search (that type of ad is not javabased) or any other non-javabased ad
    </noscript>

    As long as you don't change the code you can put it wherever you like.

    Show me an ad based on Java. :rolleyes:
