AdSense Lag?

I'm definitely new to AdSense so I don't have experience with that. So far results were updated instantly, but today I'm stuck for almost 30 minutes now at a certain number of impressions. I got mentioned on a pretty big news site and I see the number of visitors is going way up but nothing on AdSense.

Does this happen from time to time? Is that normal?

That's normal, it can take a few hours. I find it's best not to stat watch but check today's tomorrow if you know what I mean.

I wish I had that kind of discipline! At least I've managed to back down from the 30 times a day I checked when I first signed up to only 5 or so times a day. I know that it won't update itself all that often, but I just can't help checking :)

I've noticed it does seem to be taking longer recently when compared to my site access logs.

Patience is a virtue when hoping for any changes on Google. Either that or you need to invent suspended animation and go into deep sleep for 3 months.

Sometimes I notice the front page is even updated slower than a Report I generate. with about 30 mins

Ohh, well, it updated... at least a bit. Compared to yesterday I've got a 1000% increase of unique visitors on the page and a 13% lower number of impressions in AdSense. Ok, I'll take a break and come back later :p

Statusbar - on the right. You have to restart Firefox to use it... ehmm... that's a Firefox extension, not a Google Toolbar plugin ;)

Didn't like it that much, gonna stick with the Google Desktop plugin.

    Oh, and as an update...

    - unique visitors +1974%
    - impressions +400%

Seems Google is getting there slowly ;)
