After spending a few hours in this forum, I figured out that there are many optimization tips to your adsense placements which most people are unaware of. Here's the first tip: Use alternate colors to change the look of the links and break that ad blindness. Might help a bit... example of a link using 3 colors at random : google_color_link = ["0000CC","800000","005500"]; Got some to share? Share them here
I disagree with the idea of cycling randomly through a bunch of colours. If you randomly choose 3 colour schemes, by definition 66.6 percent of your impressions will underperform. A/B split testing is my advice. Find out the colour that produces best results and stick to it. Chris
alternate colors have poor CTR. Many use it to test which color is giving the best CTR and they stick to that color.
