AdSense keywords displaying wrong?

    Hello,

I have a website running which displays game news: http://news.loiqdesign.be , and when I look at the page I get ads for feeding animals? When I move the site to another directory (like .be/backup) the ads display content about games, and site related content.

My site is running for 5 days now and nothing has changed. Is there something I do wrong?

    Regards

I'm not too sure how well AdSense's targeting is in other languages, but I'm currently seeing English chemistry related ads. The only thing I can think of is that AdSense is getting confused with the differing languages on your site.

It takes time for the MediaBot to browse your website and decide on witch content ads to display.
Don't rush things, take it slow, make it happen.
Targeted ads will show up eventually.

Well after 5 days he definitely should've seen targeted ads, which is why I'm led to believe that AdSense is being "confused" somehow. On all of my sites I never waited longer than 2 hours for them to show properly targeted ads.

i think google needs time to find the more related ads to your content. you must wait up to 2 weeks. if you are recieving unrelated ads , you can block thpse sites with competitive ads filter

    I found the problem!

    in my <html> tag I had xml:lang="nl-BE"
this caused the problem, by removing the -BE so you only get xml:lang="nl" it displays ads correctly ;)
