Adsense January Victims

i think everyone is hit by the economic recession. Don't blame adsense. The only things is continue write more good content and increase your site traffic

 

January passed well as compare to December, I earned in Dec 1,047 $ and in Jan I hits 1,515 $ which is normal for me as before Dec I was earning and I hope Feb will be best than Jan, but not sure.

 

Recession is killing us =[

 

I made 10x more than normal but that's because I have added to my portfolio. Got a few domains that have $5 clicks, no idea how or why anyone would pay a $5 CPC.

 

Google Q4 Earnings

Google reported revenues of $5.70 billion for the quarter ended December 31, 2008, an increase of 18% compared to the fourth quarter of 2007 and an increase of 3% compared to the third quarter of 2008. Google reports its revenues, consistent with GAAP, on a gross basis without deducting traffic acquisition costs (TAC). In the fourth quarter of 2008, TAC totaled $1.48 billion, or 27% of advertising revenues.

No bad economy there...

 

That's true but I did hear they did have a decrease in revenue. Still profit nonetheless.

 

For my one site, my revenue has increased 50+%

My site was just at $20-$24 in Sept-Dec, but shot to $53 in January.

 

My earnings are horrific. $1 per 5,000ish

 

My adsense earnings did not change in Jan in comparison with previous months....

Jan 09 was my best month up about $100 from Dec 08... I see feb will be a little less then Jan..

But I am going to more on getting more traffic and making more sites.

I did better in January, also. I wish people would quit making such sweeping statements that indicate that EVERYONE is being hit.

 

I see a huge drop on CPC, less then $0,10 per click *Scubita goes away wondering what happened to $1 + clicks*

 

i also face this problem.while iw as doing all work with rules then my earning was 500$.

No significant change here. Once again it really depends on the industries you work, and the advertising dollars the companies within those industries are willing to spend.

 

Its been ok for me, nothing great but no less than last month

 

Well, for spanish ads... december was bad month, Jan 09 was better.

Yesterday I received .14$ for 27 clicks..

 

its bad for some people not for everyone
and if it is economic crises it should happn to everyone
I can see there are lots of people who are earning better then last month or so

That means its not the matter of bad economy
its matter of something else like smart pricing, or bad niche etc
