1200 imp and 400-500 clicks? WUAO, maybe that is why they banned you. -- Ontopic: January was painful for me, 35% less than December.
January proved to be a lot better month to me than December was. I made $40 more in Jan. Than I did in December.
got $600 and still blame on google ? You should thank for it, many people don't have $600 from google now days
CTR is almost the same but eCPM decreased, looks like advertisers are not willing to pay much and maybe google has increased its share percentage
My earnings have gone down 100%, I was earning around $3-5 per click, now I am earning nothing nut legend
I've seen a big improvement in jan. Namely due to a traffic increase, but when compared with dec, for the ammount of clicks it should have been more.
My adsense got discontinued too! The sites are actually performing good with increased traffic. Still don't know why the account got discontinued I am looking at alternatives for advertisers!
Earnings dropped 25% in comparison but this month is my biggest check ever. $5,240. How ? I kept working on traffic and promotion. That of course costs money and so actual adsense profit is around 4,000 ...on par with earnings from previous months.
My earnings were still strong in Jan, December was about 10% higher but all in all a good month. I don't rely on adsense per-dominately to make money. Just use it as another revenue source.
My earnings were always $300-400 a month. Now its $100. Even Google stock took a big hit, and they could be taking more of the cut too.
For me, some months eCPM goes up, other goes down... the difference is usually about 10-20%, but this month my eCPM is about 50% less than the last month or last January. CTR is down too. My guess is that the smaller advertiser budgets also impact the relevance of the ads shown in my site: less relevance, less clicks. I don't think that Google is increasing their share; this is just part of the recession... and my guess is that until it's over, it will only get worse for the majority of advertisers.
50% CTR is unbelievably dangerous, potentially fraud. I remember a CPC dumped me because I wasn't pulling 2-3% CTR, which would probably also be flagged for fraud these days. What were you doing to get 50% CTR? Did you typo and mean to say 12000 impressions because even 5% CTR would be a red flag. On a side note, I noticed that my bounce rate for my adwords campaign is 75% or higher. I am about to cancel my adwords campaign because of it. I wonder how many advertisers are actually getting what they are paying for.
