    Start a blogspot blog, and just write. If you are serious about adsense, take your time in the monetization side of things. If you're in a rush, you won't make a lasting impact through adsense anyways.

    Create a blog and run it for 6 months. This is a great way to place time and effort into something you enjoy, then you can monetize it after its rolling.

    I got an Adsense account and my site was about one to two weeks old; it did have articles on it. I wanted to "peacock" the site, make it look attractive. I'm operating my site on an independent Wordpress engine. Also, though, I have a contact page and a privacy policy, which I had read somewhere that that was required.

    Since your from India, then you should own your site for at least 6 months.. AND IT IS NOT A MYTH.. just check the requirements on adsense site..
