I've been reading about on various forums and it seems to be that Adsense give you less eCPM if your site starts getting more visitors. So basically, better site = lower eCPM, kewl. My question: I have adsense on my frontpage and forums and I have set them as different 'channels' in adsense. I get a lot more impressions on my forums, do those extra impressions lower the eCPM of my frontpage clicks?
Not sure if I mean eCPM by the way. I'm talking about how much I get for each click done via the front page and whether the forums will make that lower because it has many more page impressions.
Ppl who visit forums know why they are on that page & what they are looking for. Obviously these guys are more interested in the posts & they goto another page if they dont find an answer. Also, it depends on the kind of forums you have. Its quite possible that your forum content must be inviting ppl who know what adsense is all abt.
I'm not talking about the frequency of clicks at all here. I'm talking about whether earnings-per-click generally for your whole Adsense account are lowered because your overall page impressions for your account are much higher because you have the ads on a forum for example but ads also on a less popular page.
