I think we can still make some really good money with adsense. All that is needed is a lot of targeted traffic.
AdSense is not dead,buddy.Just as you mentioned,Google takes its affiliate program after the acquisition of doubleclick,and you can generate $$$ from both of them!
If You want to earn more money then you should try for it and should increase your web site traffic than you can earn good money.
