This thread has been here for more than one year. In other words, Adsense is dead for more than one year. Now we should be writing a condolence letter to Adsense. Maybe after 10 years, someone would still claim that Adsense is dead. And finally all of us will be dead one day. Nothing is eternal, from this perspective, the saying of Adsense is dying is true though.
Adsense has not died, it has just changed that's all. For some publishers those changes hasn't been good. One of the biggest changes in recent times is the inclusion of smart pricing into Google Adsense scheme. For many that practice various forms of black hat techniques, notably Adsense arbitrage, smart pricing was a shock to the system. Adsense is far from dead. It's only got a little difficult for those publishers that like to cut corners.
I agree with Ironclad. AdSense has only evolved, but it is still possible to make a great income with AdSense. I know one man that makes up to $500 per day with AdSense. I'd say that's nothing to sneeze at!
It sure is tough to generate a decent income but I wouldn't say it's dead, many people make a good sum of money from it.
Funny this thread! Started a year ago and in that time my adsense earnings have gone up. Even in spite of my recent wobbles Odd that if Adsense is dead
My sites are just starting to get clicks but what surprised me most is I'm indexed in Bing faster than in Google! lol Not sure why as I've done nothing different than in the past.
