You're not going to get much from AdSense with only 800 visitors a month but it might be enough to pay for your hosting (depends on your hosting package and the theme your blog is based on).

If your Adsense earnings could reach your monthly hosting fee, then why not? But I don't know with 800 visitors. That depends on your CTR.

Hosting a small blog hardly costs anything these days. You could make some money just getting a sponsor from your niche. Offer a text link or a banner in return for the money to pay the hosting fee. Adsense, as far as I know, will pay out only after you reach $100. That could take a while depending on what your blog is about.

If you are worrying about hosting fees, and most are a couple of dollars a month, then
you should get more serious about your online endeavors. You have to spend money
to make money. If it's a hobby, then a hobby it will remain. There is hosting each month
for the cost of a double latte at starbucks.

In short, there would be no trouble generating 5 bucks a month in adsense, with normal
promoting (all things being equal), but it would take 2 years to get a payout.
(yes I know there is no such thing as a sure thing)

If cost is a factor, use blogspot, google's free blogging platform. Mine outperform
    my dot coms.

Adsense is the easiest way but may not be the most profitable...Monetized with CPA offer as well and I believe you will have more extra cash more than enough to pay for hosting.

You have to double your traffic first to make a decent adsense income before you invest more.

hay if you want to earn nearly $100 per month then you must have to have min 1500 visitors per day.. also it depends on your niche too. some gets high paying ads and some get always low paying..

You definitely need to start driving more traffic to your site then. How are you generating traffic currently? Do you do any SEO/backlinking, and do you use videos/articles? Sounds like you need to ramp up your traffic generation efforts!

Your blog doesn't have good traffice. Need to increase that first before making some money. If your niche has a good pay for adsense, it may cover your hosting fee. But don't expect too much for your current amount of traffic.

You don't have to put adsense on your blog just to pay for hosting. Just use/switch to blogger or other free blog hosting services.

Think about what you are promoting with your site. If your domain is targeted at big money products then sponsors will pay more for clicks. Even with medium traffic you can do all right. If you have lots of traffic but promoting nickle and dime stuff then do not expect much from adsense.

It depends on your site niches. If your keywords are high paying ones, go with adsense :)
