well, seems adsense is cleaning its publishers db now days.

one of my pals just reported me that adsense has been banned their file hosting site.

this site was based on megaupload concept.

    with $xx.xxx/mo rev.

now its banned with adsense message "we noticed that you are currently displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our policies".

    any one got banned also?

You know, I use a lot of image hosting myself, and I've noticed that 99.9% of these guys are using tricks to get people to click on their ads. I see floating Adsense ads, I see arrows pointing for people to click on the ads, I see interstatial pages with nothing but ads and a clock counting down to 10 seconds before the image stored loads.

What does all of these mean? The faster they get rid of all these image hosting sites, the better, because all of the clicks are CRAP. Once more, this is EXACTLY why I don't advertise on content sites.

Content sites advertisements are good., You can filter these sites based on keywords.

    I filter using the keywords.,
S*x, F*uck, Share, Shared, Sharing, image hosting, file hosting, rapidshare, megaupload, youtube, and several other words.,

You will be getting effective clicks then,

You have got to be kidding me. I don't have time to be going through 5 billion Adsense publishers looking for the bad ones to filter. It's just like the MFA sites -- you filter one, and tomorrow there are 5 billion more to take their place.

thats really bad it would have been much better if they had warn him that he was breaking tOS instead of just banning him just like that.

I doubt it was because it is a filesharing site. There must be something else.

I've also seen where when you click Browse to look for a file and you double click the file you accidentally click an ad behind it, imageshack.us does this.
