Totally agree. Quality content is key. It also helps if you actually do some research before diving in like most people seem to do.
I am only referring to the right characters, spirit and the correct attitude one should have while working not the types of guidelines for a successful website which can be found in many other threads..eg. of good attitudes such as hard work, focus on 1 thing at a time rather than 10 things at a time etc.... please add more if you feel that is necessary..
Eh. I disagree with focus on 1 thing at a time rather than 10. It really depends on the type of person you are. I took on a lot of projects this year. This month I'm relaxing and just collecting stats till 08. The best thing to do is to focus on learning about what your traffic wants, or, offer them something unique and new. If I can make someones life easier and actually have them like the website, I feel better. And yes, I do get e-mails from random people who have visited my sites. Hope that made sense.
