Yeah, 500 per month from sites doesn't really compare to a Cisco salary, but it is a nice bonus here and there.
FGS, there are people who left their job for adsense but to do that, adsense must give atleast twice the income each month with a good historical figures. i won't leave my job unless i earn atleast $15000 per month..and i know it's hard
as everybody said... never rely on adsense coz they can take away your account and if you rely too much on it.. you'll start feeling as if nothing is left for you to earn. what you earn from adsense is for google. and if sometimes they do send you payments... its a bonus
Through my job i earn 20 times more than my adsense income, moreover adsense income is not stable plus there is always a risk of getting banned.
I will prefer stay on my day job at the same time receiving money from Google. It's to risky if you put your future on Google.
Exactly how I feel. Even though a real job is not always secure .. and owning a business isn't.. but adsense is even more stables (There are those who might try to get you banned as well!). It's more of a dream to have it as a full income than reality.
Well, I just take my adsense income as extra pocket change but there is no way I would depend on it for a living. As long as I make enough to cover the cost of hosting my sites, I am happy. I still depend on my core business to survive. Since I cannot force anyone to click on the Adsense or even which ads to click, it cannot be counted as stable income at all.
My salary is 10-12 times bigger than what I get thru adsense So I cant quit my job But the income thru adsense is nice little addition....
I haven't had a job since 2001, so can't compare it to anything, but Adsense for me is just a nice little sublementary income, and I certainly don't rely on this money. Compared to the money I make from affiliate programs and trading, it's insignificant.
I wrote content. Then, I wrote more content. Then, I wrote even more content. After that, I wrote even more content. Then, I continued to write content. Occasionally I would build links. Eventually, I contracted with others to build content and links faster.
AdSense should come as a complementary revenue solution around your full-time job, because of its insecurity and instability
Even if I made great money on adsense, I would keep working or learning. No point in wasting life just because you found a good way to make money. Like others have said, I use it as extra income
