Adsense Income vs. AdBrite

    Hello,

One of the things that I don't like about Adsense is that these is no disclosure of the ad payout from advertisers and the percentage that Google is paying. I am concidering putting some sites on AdBrite, Or Other, to see how well it would do in comparison.

Does anyone know if Adbrite discloses the numbers gross and net. Do they show you what is the percentage you earn? Has anybody tested these against each other, and if you have, I would be interested to know how well adBrite did against Adsense.

Seems to me that with same traffic levels and same to growing cost of buying adsense keywords, the pay and income (to publisher) continues to decrease. Does anyone else think this, it sure looks like it..?

I used adbrite on a site getting 5-10K impressions per day. I got a couple of clicks worth 0.03 each and I had some revenue for CPM banners (I think this was 0.01 or so). So I didn't have success with it unfortunately, but I have seen other threads where people were reporting they were get tons from it... so I guess it just depends on your site, and what you want to put on it for ads.

For me, adsense was earning 3x more than adbrite on similar sites, now they are comparable. Adsense started to suck after Dec 24.

Adsense worked far much better for me. Never got clicks more than $0.05 in Adbrite.

Adbrite revenue is pretty stable, you can expect to get the same revenue everyday.
While Adsense fluctuates with often a huge gap. Like you can go from $15 to $40 from day to day.
Huge huge gap, not stable at all this is becuase the CPC are so random.

I use adbrite, and get better pay than adsense.

I think it depends on the niche

    Hmm, mixed bag.

No science here, just logic. But, One thing I thought of was that Adbrite would have fewer potential advertisers. This means that on more obscure niches that AdSense would have advantage of more advertisers.

Does AdBrite disclose the payout percentage and the advertising income better than Adsense? Since Google Adsense discloses no detail about formula, aren't they free to change the percentage at any time with no disclosure to the webmaster at all. Thus couldn't Google just decide to continually lower the payout rate with no disclosure to webmasters, kind of giving themselves a raise and us a paycut at will, completely behind the scenes.

Are AdBrite and Google same with regard to this? Do other PPC programs give better transparency to their "partners"?
