I have a 10 year old site that I am updating over the next month www.calcruising.com. Several years ago we placed adsense all over the site to try to optimize the site. We were able to get adsense up to an average of $80 a day over a 2 year period. We ended up removing most of the adsense to focus on paid listings for our Auto insurance and Auto Transport directories. With the new site design being implemented we are going to setup a small section on each page near the top for adsense. Auto insurance and auto transport are high paying adense ads averaging between $1.00 and $4.00 per click. The daily revenue will average between $30 to $45. I am interested in selling our long-term adsense revenue to raise capital for the current site re-design. Our future focus is to continue to build the insurance directories through a fresh look. I have adsense stats for when we aggressively used it in 2006 and 2007 and some of 2008.
