Adsense income dependent on cubical dwellers goofing off at work?

I'm starting to think that adsense earnings are very dependent on office workers surfing various sites in their "free time". Weekends are usually down, especially this last holiday weekend.

If I'm right and we do need to depend on these cubical dwellers... I wonder if there is a certain site out there that caters to the cubical crowd? A cubical portal or something like that?

Are you a cubical dweller? What sites do you usually visit while at work?

My CTR was up over the holiday weekend, & I was hoping the last changes made the difference. But today, back down again.

My conclusion, it all depends. Depends on your niche, etc.

LOL. Yeah, back when I was in a cubicle farm, I'd look after personal business from time to time when it was somewhat appropriate.

For example, it's monday, you ate and drank too much all weekend, and now it's time to look online for a hangover remedy or a new diet or something. I mean, whenever the idea hits you, that's when you'll do a search. Everybody needs to be able to take a break at work, do online banking, pay your bills, send a gift or whatever.

So how does this affect offices where you have large amounts of employess behind proxies? If I check my AS account from work wouldn't the proxy ip be flagged and thus someone completely unrelated on the other side of the complex that happened to click an ad have that click voided? A few of us have speculated on this, obviously we've no real way to tell.

Thank goodness the office managers are not strict enough to ban surfing by employees. That would be a disaster, wouldn't it?
