Is there any adsense plugin for the latest wordpress version.?
Adsense have a new version of their ads code and I think
all available plugins won;t work with the new ad codes.
Or If i just put the ads code along with the post will more than 3 ad boxes
be displayed in the home page.
Because only 3 ad-boxes are allowed according to Google's TOS.
Will Google automatically limit upto 3 ad-boxes in home page ?

Yep.. Adsense manager or Adsense Deluxe or even Adsense Injection will work for you. Yes Google should, however you can mix it up with link blocks and other 3 blocks. :)

Correct me if I am wrong. But this is basically what I do. The template files are so clear in Wordpress, I just edit my sidebar template and add my adsense code in the sidebar somewhere.. as an alternate if i use widgets I make a new text widget and put the adsense code in it.. very simple from wordpress panel.

I understand your concern that you want to put ads in the post.. but if you show more than 3 posts in the main page, this means more than 3 ads = violating adsense terms. Try to go around it by probably making the ads visible only in post standalone page. But you could do this by editing the template file which controls your single post view under themes/YOURTHEME/single.php or something.

Often, you will need to use adsense outside that post, just if the ads are not targeted it wont bother the readers that much, in the siderbar just edit the sidebar file. or create a new div which contains the ad code in header.

I do not know of any plugin that control adsense in posts, but this is what I have been doing.

hope you find my post helpful.

    Indeed a neat idea.

I use Adman for putting ads in my content. You tell it where to place the code and it will do it for you. :)

Inserting Adsense, or other advertising, is easy just by editing the template pages.

I never prefer or recommend anyone to use any plugin for ads. The best way to insert ads is by injecting the ad codes in your template pages.
    Its the best way.
    Goodluck with it..

godsofchaos, what one would you recommend out of Adsense manager and Adsense Deluxe, are they both compatible with 2.5.1?
