Hey, I have an InvisionFree forum attached to my website. They had their Google ads on it originally (it's a free version of the forum), but for a small fee you can have those ads removed. So it paid and asked them if I can put my own Google ads there, and they said yes. Then I asked Google, semding them a link, if it's ok for me to post Adsense ads here - they send me a general answer and said that I can post my ads on any website that complies with TOS. So I placed my ads. I made this forum into a channel to track it and submitted to Google SE. It's been a day and the channel shows 'no data' yet. Since I subscribe to this service this forum is practicaly my website, but technically not, and it's URL has nothing in it that suggest my websites URL. So.. my question is, in a nushell - after opening our one account with Adsense can we post ads on any (meaning ANY - like friends, strangers or third party - like forums, guestbooks etc.) as long as they agree for us to place them there ? When I opened my Adsense account it was for one domain but they say that I can ad Adsense ads to any of my websites, so to me like it is ok. Further (which is actually a very similar scenario) - let's say I make a website for a client and accept the right to put my Adsense ads on their website as partial payment. How about this ? BTW. - just got my EFT in my bank yesterday, so this beta works!
I just had a little look on the adsense help section and found the answer: Yes you are allowed to use multiple website with one account as long those websites will comply with the TOS. If you like to read a bit more about multiple websites using one adsense account, check the link.
Thanks.. this actually says it all. I am a bit paranoid with TOS's that even when I am 100% sure I don't want to miss anything and have to stop myself from writing them to approve any new site.
The problem with the Adsense TOS is that in some area's it can be kind of vague, and basically says that Google can do what they want, whenever they want, and for any reason! That's the scary part! I always worry that I will spend months and months building up traffic on my sites, only to have big G pull the rug out from under the whole deal! Thats life!
That's exactly what I mean - you can have the best intentions and be honest and get axed. That's life, yeah... unless you're the one pulling the strings ! LOL
