I am going to start collecting some of my visitors emails to send them a daily or weekly newsletter. Does google allow you to place adsense in emails or is this against TOS?

I've seen them in the ZiffDavis emails, but I have no idea how to actually do it!

Use your email list to bring visitors back to your site or to offer them some great deal within their area of interest. If you have a product make an offer to the group like 25% off this week only with this special offer code.

I had success working with someone that had an SEO e-book that was normally $49, we offered it at $39 and got better than a 1% response from a web developer mail list. Many on the list only cared about code and couldn't even spell SEO. :D

That's not at all true. I can post emails from a well known B2B site that has adsense in their emails.

Maybe it depends on your publisher status

I think this is only allowed for premium publishers, Coz I have seen naukri.com - job portal using adsense in their news letters.

I don't know that you could run adbrite network ads, but I see absolutely no reason you couldn't run regular adbrite ads (ie, selling your ad inventory) within your email campaigns. Advertisers would still see all the info about the campaign before they purchased..
