Adsense in directories?

    Does anybody have any experience (good or bad) regarding to adsense earning when using adsense in directories?

    I used adsense in a directory and it brought my earnings down so I removed it. I guess it depends on the overall traffic you get but I wouldn't count on making bank that way. It could happen but there are better options.

    The main problem with directories is that they usually feature A to Z topics and SmartPricing does not treat one well when there are many unrelated topics on the same site.

    My directory (BestWebsites.com.my) works fine since I had made good use of folders and directories.
