Is it a good idea to put adsense right in the middle of content or an article. For example http://www.laptopgamers.com/console_reviews/logitech_harmony_remote_for_xbox_360.html Does this seem to effect traffic, return visitors, or do visitors not really care.
Yes, ads right in the middle of articles work. The example you showed is fairly common, some sites are even more blatant about the ad positioning. But it's not for everyone. It works better when newcomers outnumber the regulars. You always have to consider your audience and what your plans are for the site. If you're going for the long term approach with repeat traffic, strive to make readable pages with good content. That means making sure that the ads aren't too obtrusive so that they don't interfere with the reading. Even if you have a lot of ads, there are small things you can do to make the user's visit more enjoyable. Such as using CSS to disable the ads when printing (since they can't be clicked anyhow). That kind of thing...
using ads in the middle of the content and articles is completely alright. Another suggestion is that you should use an ad right after the article ends (but above the these > << Start < Prev 1 2 3 4 5 Next > End >> ) , instead of below it.
