I just started getting traffic to my sites and so far I have nearly 200 page impressions on Google Adsense, but not a single click. Why such a low ratio of page impressions to clicks? What could I be doing wrong?
Maybe because no one is interested in what the ads are showing. Try targeting the visitors a little better.
Try switching your ad placement, blend them in your contents. If the ads are not where your visitors can see them they won't click. Good Luck.
It's probably best to post this again in the Adsense Placement/Reviews/Examples sub-forum. With 200 impressions and no clicks I'll bet that it is your ad placement. PM me your website's URL and I'll be happy to offer some advice.
You should probably be expecting a click ratio of 5-0.5%. Where is your traffic comming from and how long are they spending on your site? If it's all stuimbeupon traffic than spends less than 5 seconds there then don't expect any clicks.
That's not a low ratio, marketpro. Hell, not even close. If you really are a market pro, shouldn't you have known that? Did you get others to critique your ad before placing it?
