Adsense Impressions and pay

I was wondering if any has ever seen this. I do not want to break any adsense rules so i wont post the exact dollar amounts.

the other day i had x impressions, and x clicks which is way more than usual and i noticed that even though adsense saw it, none of the ads paid out anything, which i found is weird.

does anyone have any answers to this? or a reason why this may be?

This could also be because the ads were public service ads. Do you mind sharing your site's URL?

I think one can increase their Pay per 1000 impression by increasing total traffic...

Since december my pay per 1000 impression is same. But the total traffic my blogs is also same. But I guess by increasing the total traffic, it can be increased.

But so far, I have tried plenty of ad networks, but none can be compared to adsense. I am not from U.S. So I cant use YPN.

So, I guess YPN is the only real competitor for this moment...

of course, they dun directly pay money per impression. But the ad click value and the number of clicks indirectly depends on impression.
