Adsense Impressions and Clicks

I have a new site that I brought online last weekend and I decided to signup with adsense for a little bit of revenue. My site basically went live on Monday with about 100 page impressions and yesterday I closed the day with about 800. Monday through Thursday I averaged 7-24 clicks per day and made $2-3/day from adsense.

What's strange is that yesterday was my biggest day yet in terms of both unique visitors and impressions. Yet, I only had 1 click all day yesterday and got nothing from it. Today is shaping up the same way again. I've had 200 impressions, again no clicks.

For the life of me I can't figure out what has happened. When I check the page the ads look ok. I'm seriously wondering if something has happened with google where there not recording my clicks for some reason.

    Anyone seen this before? :(

    Welcome to adsense..
You'll need more traffic before you start to see a steady CTR.. Give it a little more time.

I agree, its very early to start reading too much into it.

let your site grow and develop, and so will your adsense revenue

I've experienced the same thing. After taking a closer look at the analytics stats I noticed that most of the visitors came from StumbleUpOn. Seems like the quality of that kind of traffic is very low...

The fact is that I also complain about some similar things, sometimes my CTR is around 7% sometimes is around 1,5% and I hate it.Probably is because Google tests ads formats on our sites and some performs better than others. However, i would like to count on a steady CTR.

Sometimes it happens because of the ad impression and bid on impression, if the daily budget of the advertiser is finished then you will got 0 from the click.
